10 year-old girl's [KAWAII] Doll Making
My daughter made a doll of a Japanese comic character.
First she made a doll with odds and ends cloth below. It was so surreal. It reminds us of invultuation. She was not happy about our reaction.
So she wanted to make something cute. She chose "Joe-kun" from "Pre-Pre Chii-chan" (Japanese MANGA).
1. She sketched to make a pattern.
2. Cut cloth.
3. Sew each part. The hardest part was to make his underwear...
4. She put the underwear on before putting arms and feet, they it worked.
Good Job!
It took about 5 hours. It cost only $2-3. I recommend you let your child make something with a piece of cloth to improve his/her creativity.
